Fresh back from the West Coast - and the requisite cold and jetlag - I am enjoying a riotous New Year's Eve consisting of my favorite movies, lots of tea, and sleep. Nothing beats being young in the capitol of the free world, let me tell you what......EXCEPT...

No pictures from New Mexico yet, but here are a few from the walk around Point Loma lighthouse in San Diego this weekend.
This shot is evidence of how windy it was. And yes, there is a dog on the end of that chain; he's just not in the picture. For once :)
Out at the point... the clouds were pretty awesome on Saturday!
Ye olde light at ye olde lighthouse... looks strangely like the Liberty Bell if you ask me. Or maybe I've just seen National Treasture too many times.
