A beautiful, cool day that makes it feel like fall is already beginning. If it doesn't break 95 again this year, I will be thrilled beyond belief.
Having the house organized, clean, redecorated (the upstairs bathroom at least), and ready for the arrival of a new roommate and the third epoch of the Alexandria girls' townhouse.
Time to tend my garden with more than just a drink of water. (The plants do need to be fertilized, though.)
A new shirt from Ann Taylor Loft (on sale of course) followed by a long, meandering walk around the Old Town Alexandria waterfront.
A day off tomorrow (even if I have to go to the dentist and take my computer to the "hospital").
Soft, pink, fuzzy yarn and a new stitch learned for a baby blanket.
Time to think about my blog and my Fantasy Football team.
Learning to cherish the past without clutching it.
A roommate who has put up with me every day for nearly three years.
Other friends who have managed to put up with me even longer.
Cell phones, so I can talk to Mom and Dad almost whenever any of us feel like it.
Walking.
Quiet.
Mercies new every morning.
