Since when was it time to talk about autumnal things – back to school (losing one roommate and getting another on account of grad school), fantasy football in the office, a new ESOL trimester, and signs on the roadsides for fall football leagues?
How could it possibly be that I’ve been in my new office for nearly six months – the entire year of 2007 more than halfway over?
Forget weddings – when did my friends start having kids?
Can’t life stop for long enough for me to catch my breath?

When people don't use contraception they have kids pretty soon after getting married. I'm not surprised your PHC friends are in the family way.
